At Washington Refuse & Recycling Association (WRRA), we believe that you will quickly realize the value of becoming an Associate Member of our association. The WRRA is the largest trade association in Washington State representing private sector interests in the solid waste and recycling industries. The WRRA is also the longest running, state solid waste and recycling association in the Western United States, having been formed in 1947.

The benefits of being a WRRA Associate Member are numerous and include: the opportunity for your company to attend WRRA Events (Legislative Reception, Annual Meeting, the Christmas Meeting & Banquet, etc.); The Route – WRRA’s newsletter; E-mail notifications concerning the solid waste and recycling industries and the WRRA; inclusion in the WRRA Membership Directory; and WRRA Staff support.

     bullet Submit application to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., along with annual dues check for $800 (check payable to: Washington Refuse & Recycling Association);

     bullet Executive Director will submit application to the WRRA Board for consideration, following 20 days notice to WRRA Regular Members for comment;

     bullet Application approval decision will be mailed to the address on the application, via USPS.

 

Your application needs to specify a WRRA Member/staff as a referral, or be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a sister organization of which you may already be an associate member (i.e., the Oregon Refuse and Recycling Association or the California Refuse Removal Council, Northern or Southern District).
